So I made the mistake of perusing Copart while bored one day. Unfortunately the lot like 5 miles from my house has a neat 1988 Mighty Max. Runs and drives! Clean Title! Unfortunately “Dealer Only.” Anyone know someone in North Carolina with a dealer license? I mean LOOK AT IT! I NEED THIS.

They won’t even let you use a broker? That sucks.

Well they will. However I don’t want to pay a broker $200 for a $200 truck.

An excellent point. Copart is pricey even without using a broker, too.

So how did it turn out? I found your page b/c I am wanting to bid on a Copart vehicle, but the title says “Dealer Only Clean Title”.

Is it worth it?  I am not a dealer; I’m okay with buying through a broker site, but is there more paperwork on the back end when trying to get the new title if you are not a dealer?
